LOS ANGELES (AP) ? Long before Christopher Chaney made headlines by hacking into the email accounts of such stars as Scarlett Johansson and Christina Aguilera, two other women say he harassed and stalked them online.

The women, who both knew Chaney, say their lives have been irreparably damaged by his actions. One has anxiety and panic attacks; the other is depressed and paranoid. Both say Chaney was calculated, cruel and creepy: he sent nude photos they had taken of themselves to their family members.

Their accounts as cybervictims serve as a cautionary tale for those, even major celebrities, who snap personal, and sometimes revealing photos.

Chaney, 35, of Jacksonville, Fla., is set to be sentenced Monday and could face up to 60 years in prison after pleading guilty to nine felony counts, including wiretapping and unauthorized access to a computer, for hacking into email accounts of Aguilera, Johansson and Mila Kunis.

Aguilera said in a statement that although she knows that she's often in the limelight, Chaney took from her some of the private moments she shares with friends.

"That feeling of security can never be given back and there is no compensation that can restore the feeling one has from such a large invasion of privacy," Aguilera said.

Prosecutors said Chaney illegally accessed the email accounts of more than 50 people in the entertainment industry between November 2010 and October 2011. Aguilera, Kunis and Johansson agreed to have their identities made public with the hopes that the exposure about the case would provide awareness about online intrusion.

The biggest spectacle in the case was the revelation that nude photos taken by Johansson herself and meant for her then-husband Ryan Reynolds were taken by Chaney and put on the Internet. The "Avengers" actress is not expected to attend the hearing, but she has videotaped a statement that may be shown in court.

Some of Aguilera's photos appeared online after Chaney sent an email from the account of her stylist, Simone Harouche, to Aguilera asking the singer for scantily clad photographs, prosecutors said.

Chaney forwarded many of the photographs to two gossip websites and another hacker, but there wasn't evidence he profited from his scheme, authorities said.

For the two women, who were only identified in court papers by their initials, their encounters with Chaney went from friendly to frightening.

One of the women, identified by the initials T.B., said she first met Chaney online in 1999 when she was 13 years old. She began talking with a girl named "Jessica" that later turned out to actually be Chaney.

Chaney figured out his victims' email passwords and security questions and set a feature to forward a copy of every email they received to an account he controlled.

The woman said that in February 2009 her friends contacted her and let her know that several nude photos of her were uploaded to a public gallery. A year later, Chaney sent a link to a photo-sharing website he created and had her nude pictures sent to her father.

She said she spends several hours a week monitoring the Internet for her personal information and breaks into a sweat whenever she receives a Google alert email notifying her that her name has been mentioned online.

In her letter to U.S. District Judge S. James Otero, she said she thinks Chaney won't stop and she still feels like he has control over her reputation, relationships and career.

Chaney was arrested in October 2011 as part of a yearlong investigation of celebrity hacking that authorities dubbed "Operation Hackerazzi." Chaney's computer hard drive contained numerous private celebrity photos and a document that compiled their extensive personal data, according to a search warrant.

Chaney has since apologized for what he has done, but prosecutors are recommending a nearly six-year prison sentence for him. They also want him to pay $150,000 in restitution, including about $66,000 to Johansson.

The second woman, identified in court papers only as T.C., said she was a close friend of Chaney's for more than a decade. As early as 2003 she noticed her passwords were being reset and email she hadn't looked at had been read by someone. She also said Chaney forwarded an invitation to an online photo gallery to her brother, who eventually saw naked pictures of her.

The woman said the night before she got married, Chaney deleted her email account and she was unable to correspond with a notary until she created a new email address.

In her letter to the judge, the woman said she's been broken by the physical and emotional toll and can no longer recall what it was like to have a private life.

Gunbattle follows airport attack in Pakistan

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) ? Five Taliban fighters were killed in a battle with security forces on Sunday after they fled to a village in northwestern Pakistan near an international airport they helped attack the night before, officials said.

The militants were hiding in an unfinished house in the village, located about 3 kilometers (2 miles) from the airport in Peshawar, said Mian Iftikhar Hussain, information minister in surrounding Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Three of the militants were shot by security forces when they tried to escape, said Hussain. Both he and the military said the two other militants detonated their suicide vests when security forces stormed the building.

Taliban militants began their attack on the airport Saturday night by firing rockets at the wall that surrounds the installation and then detonating two car bombs to try to break through, said the air force, which jointly uses the airport with civilian authorities. The militants, some of whom were wearing suicide vests, were also armed with rocket-propelled grenades, hand grenades, automatic weapons and bags of explosives.

Four civilians were killed during the attack and over 40 wounded, including women and children, said local hospital official Umar Ayub. Two of the wounded are in critical condition, he said.

The civilians who were killed and wounded were from neighborhoods located next to the airport. It's unclear if the casualties were caused by the rockets and bombs used by the militants, or if the civilians were caught in the crossfire when security forces responded to the attack.

Five militants were killed during the attack, and three suicide vests were found near the wreckage of one of the car bombs, said the air force. The militants were unable to enter the airport. No air force equipment was damaged and no personnel were injured, the service said.

Pakistani Taliban spokesman Ahsanullah Ahsan claimed responsibility for the attack by telephone to The Associated Press. He said the attack was carried out by 10 militants, some of whom were killed.

Authorities knew that some of the militants escaped, and police intelligence traced them to Pawaka village Saturday night, said Hussain, the information minister. But action was not taken immediately because of the darkness, he said.

Laborers who were working on the house where the militants holed up informed police when they showed up for work Sunday morning and found armed men there, said Hussain. Witness statements suggest that four of the militants were foreigners, possibly Uzbeks or Chechens, he said.

The militants asked local residents for shawls to disguise themselves and a car to help them escape, an eyewitness told local Geo TV. He did not provide his name.

Peshawar is on the edge of Pakistan's tribal region, the main sanctuary for al-Qaida and Taliban militants in the country. The city has frequently been attacked in the past few years, but Saturday was the first strike against the airport.

The airport was closed after the attack but reopened on Sunday, said Hussain, the information minister.

The Pakistani Taliban have attacked other major military bases in the country in recent years, including Kamra air base near the capital, Islamabad, in August and Mehran naval air base in the southern city of Karachi last year.

If the PCs form Ontario?s next government, they plan to throw a wrench into plans to build 29 new casinos across the province.

Flanked by two of her Queen?s Park colleagues at the Rideau Carleton Raceway on Friday, Nepean-Carleton MPP Lisa MacLeod announced a PC government would wipe the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation?s casino plan off the table.

Calling it an ?empire building plan? by the OLG, MacLeod reiterated her worry that a new casino in Ottawa ? widely expected to be built downtown ? would spell the end of the Raceway.

The track?s closure would put at least 500 racetrack staff out of work, said McLeod.

Her concerns were echoed by Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark and Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry?s Jim McDonell.

Clark said the Liberal government?s support for building the new casinos has ?pitted community and community, neighbour against neighbour.?

The PC plan involves giving racetrack operators first shot at buying slot machine operations in an effort to save the industry while still ?providing a positive return to taxpayers.?

The party has also suggested allowing referendums in municipalities being considered for a casino to allow residents to decide if their city is suitable for a new gambling facility.

The three politicians stressed the success of the exisitng Slots-at-Racetracks programs, which brings in $1.2 billion each year.

Across the province, some 60,000 would be in jeapordy if the program was scrapped, they said.

Gary McDonald, who owns many of the horses at the track, said he?s not sure what he would do if his livelihood was taken from him.

?It?s my job, it?s my income, it?s my investment,? McDonald said.

At 53, McDonald expects he would have a tough time finding new work if he suddenly finds himself out of a job.

McDonald got out of the restaurant business in his native Newfoundland years ago to devote his life to the horses at the Raceway.

?I don?t know what the future would bring. My horse business will have no value and I will have no income.?

The horses themselves could also be impacted by the Raceway?s closure, with MacLeod expressing concern that hundreds of them could be put down. Unless, of course, her party can wrestle government away from the McGuinty Liberals and put their plan in place.

?This would stop a downtown Ottawa casino in its tracks,? she said.

?It would save the Rideau Carleton Raceway and it would save the horses.?
